விவாஹப் பணம் (Dowry)

மாப்பிள்ளை வீட்டார் எதிர் ஜாமின் வகையறா வாங்குவது சாஸ்திர விரோதம். மேலும் விரதங்களை தங்கள் வீட்டில் செய்துகொண்டுதான் கல்யாணத்திற்கு வர வேண்டும். அவர்கள் பொறுப்பு. இப்படிச் செய்தால் சத்திரத்திற்கு காலையில் வந்தால் போதும். நேரே விவாஹம் மந்தர பூர்வமான சடங்குகளைப் பிரதானமாகச் செய்யலாம். நிறைய வேத வித்துகளுக்கு தக்ஷிணைக் கொடுத்து அக்னி சாக்ஷியான விவாகத்தைச் சிறப்பாக நடத்தலாம். சிலவும் குறையும். நகை ஆடம்பரம் தவிர்த்து ஒருவேளை ஆகாரத்துடன் முடித்து மிச்சமாகும் பணத்தை ஒரு ஏழைக் குடும்ப கல்யாணத்திற்கு உதவலாம் அல்லது சேமிக்கலாம்.

 

Dowry

Asking dowry is against Sastras.  Further, bridegroom should complete all “Vridham” in his house itself before coming to the marriage hall.  Doing such “Vridham” is the responsibility of bridegroom and they had to bear the cost.  If it did like this, groom can come to the marriage hall in the morning hours of marriage day.  On reaching marriage hall, they can start directly the proceeding of marriage.  Marriage to be conducted with more vedics and with the witness of Fire God.  By doing this one can control expenditure and the amount saved can be used for conducting marriage of poor people.
