மாப்பிள்ளை அழைப்பு

முன் காலத்தில் மாப்பிள்ளை வெளியூரிலிருந்து வரும்போது ஊரின் எல்லையில் சென்று மேளத்தாளத்துடன் குதூகலமாக அழைத்துவருவது வழக்கம் தற்போது முதல் நாள் அன்றே மாப்பிள்ளை சத்திரத்திற்கு வந்துவிடுகிறார். தங்கி டிபன் முதலியன சாப்பிட்டு இளைப்பாறுகிறார். பிறகு இரவு (ஏற்கனவே வந்துவிட்ட வரை) வெளியில் அனுப்பி, ஓரிடத்திலிருந்து அழைப்பது அர்த்தமற்றது. இது சத்தியத்திற்குப் புறம்பானது. தவிர்க்கப்பட வேண்டும்.

( In olden days, when bridegroom comes from other city/town, he will be welcomed at the entry point of the town and will be taken to the marriage hall with music and celebration.  Presently bridegroom comes to marriage hall one day before marriage. He along with his family stays in the hall and takes meals / Tiffin etc and takes rest.  In the evening, he was asked to go out and making a “Bharath” towards marriage hall is an unwanted custom. Can be avoided. )
