Why Marriage

Dear Friends...(relatives are definitely included) Why a marriage is required? What is the genesis?

Request your answers; I repeat 'YOUR' answers. You can refer/read anything, but I need your version.

If I look at micro level, it's to have companion for life and to have children, grow them etc(not fully explained:-))

I have already thought a lot on this, waiting for you to react...

Marriage makes a relationship divine. Getting married introduced into the relationship, Powerful symbolic gesture

அமிழ்தினும் ஆற்ற இனிதே தம் மக்கள் சிறுகை அளாவிய கூழ்... I think the answer for your questions is given in five of the chapters of Thirukkural (ilvazhkai, vaazhkai thunai nalam, makkatperu, anbudamai and Virunthombal

To have a meaning for our life. It is part of the joy and sorrow that we have to undergo in this Janma !
Samsaaram....Some Saaram...Some substance

We need a best friend, companion and a partner in life ..., Not always our parents or siblings will be with us...so we marry. Marriage is a blessing for the couple who have better understanding, compromise, bonding and trust.

Marriage is giving meaning to one’s life & it sets challenges in every stage of life. It is must.

My view of marriage: it is first step of leaving selfishness and start living for one more person. Then the two start living for one or two (kids). This semblance of selflessness should go beyond to live for society and beyond. Marriage is the process treating partner equally. It's also a formal and controlled way of maintaining balance of human race. I would recommend couple to live together. I would also say, those who not got married should get married soon
